A celebration shirt.
By: Matt | June 12th, 2009The shirt that Burnley will be wearing at famous stadiums such as Old Trafford and Anfield is a shirt that replicates that of 1960 season when we were 1st division champions. Next season we will also be using the 1960 crest.
The shirt is a simple v-neck claret shirt with blue sleeves. I really like the simple looking shirts and this one is a definate buy. The front of the shirt has Cooke our new sponsers for next season. Cooke is a gas seller who are located in Padiham near Burnley and are big Burnley fans (unlike Wigan’s new sponser). Also the kit maker Errea have moved their logo to the right sleeve so the shirt has a more 1960 look. The kit has white shorts and claret and blue hooped socks.

The away kit is white and has a claret and blue rim around the neck and sleeves. The black shorts work really well with the rest of the kit and the socks are white with 2 claret and blue rings around the top.

Gorgeous jersey, it still won’t help you when you come to visit us though!
Seriously though, great kit.

Both look excellent — simpler is better

I did not post the above msg.

Clean, simple, beautiful kits. You’ll look great while we take 6 points from you!
Honestly, may be the best kits in the EPL next year.

Will you tell me your club so I know whos suppost to beat us! Or not!

Matt, I’m an American Rovers fan. Don’t know exactly how that happened, but such is life.
I’m sure I’ll eventually become irrational about hating your team now that we’ll be playing derbies, but I was rooting for you to come up, mainly because of how Burnley played under Coyle. Congrats on coming up.
And I’m serious about those kits – as much as I love the blue and white, those kits are sharp – an example for everyone else to follow.

I just booked a trip to London!!! If you are planning a trip make sure you use http://www.1000travelsites.com to find the best prices for flights and hotels. They search pretty much every travel provider on the web in a matter of seconds! Then they list the prices from all of the travel providers on one page so you definitely get the lowest price every time. I’ve tried other sites like this before, but this one aways has the most listings and the best prices. It’s like the google of travel searches.
